It was a long winter and a quick spring but that doesn't stop the work at Zephyr Farm. Last fall two new hoop houses were built on the farm. One housed the chickens for the winter and the other was prepared for the future harvest. And now there is some excitment going on in the hoop house!
Providing fresh vegetables, herbs and eggs to Rhode Islanders through farmer's markets, Consumer Supported Agriculture (CSA's) and wholesale.
Managed by seasoned farmer Michele Kozloski, all vegetables are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and the chickens are cage-free, rotated through pastures bi-weekly.
