The pesto making has begun. Today we harvested the first little bit of basil to begin the summer extravaganza of besto pesto 2010. The first lucky customers at Lippitt Park this Sat will have the chance to purchase it.
Providing fresh vegetables, herbs and eggs to Rhode Islanders through farmer's markets, Consumer Supported Agriculture (CSA's) and wholesale.
Managed by seasoned farmer Michele Kozloski, all vegetables are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and the chickens are cage-free, rotated through pastures bi-weekly.
